Getting audio to work on a HP Pavilion dv5 / Ubuntu 9.10

It looks like the problem is still there in Ubuntu 9.10, and it looks like the old fix still works. But it looks gorgeous.

for me the karmic release- even its not the best what canonical did rill now - you know there are some minor bugs- works fine on hp-pavilion dv5-1010et out of the box-without workarounds.

- It works for me. Did you try to use the pulse audio pavucontrol tool to configure pulse audio?
